The article “Reading Ourselves and the World Around us, made me think about how and what I read. The author uses his own experiences and ideas to describe his theory. He tries to describe his reading memory and the different ways we used to read. Also he explains the reason of reading. He describe how reading work in our life, our reading memory, what language we use when we read, The purpose of Alberto’s writing is to encourage more readers to connect and interpret what they are reading.

The author mad a new meaning of reading to attract the audience and that makes his essay very interesting. His massage said that we can get information from many different things we reading in our daily life and when we begin to analyze those things, we are essentially reading them.

The article was about basketball. The author starts her article with the introduction about basketball, women’s basketball, the origin of basketball and problems within the sport. The author wrote a clear paper bout how she thinks that basketball is a good and fun game to show her love and interest of this game. Then she wrote about how did the college basketball start like (a brief history) and how did the women basketball start. Also she wrote about some aspects could changing this game. Some problem they faced in high school, such as time management and problem in women basketball such as luck of support.

I like this article, its very clear and nice arrangement ,the author arrange this article very well and it include an interesting information that mad the article more clear an easy to understand.

The main idea of this article is American food culture. How American food begins, the history of American food life style, and how it became now. Also, unhealthy food culture, how it affects our body and how to solve unhealthy life style, by eat healthy food. The author brings some example to support his ideas.

The author starts his article by given introduction of the different food culture like Mexican food, Italian food and American food. Than, he talks about American food history. Today American likes to buy fast food because is fast and cheap. Especially students they do not have enough time to cook and also they do not have a lot of money to buy some thing expensive so they try to eat some thing fast and with less money. The author recommend those how tend to eat fast food to do more exercise and avoid eaten fast food as much as they can.

I think the article is very helpful for most of the people especially student. Also this article is clear we can understand what is the main idea of this article. The author chose clear picture to support his main idea and to help us understand the article.

The article is about cultural differences. Every country has their own culture, tradition and believes. For example our culture in Saudi Arabia is totally different from American culture, different in behavior, cloth, and education. In Saudi Arabia male and female cannot be in the same classroom, also we cannot out without hijab. The article says that there are differences in style of thinking. I think the author mean that different words has different meaning in every country.

The paper is about different method and process of making an effective essay. To write an effective paper you should follow four steps.

First, formulating a research question and selecting the artifact that mean how you can pick or select the topic that interest to you. Second, selecting a unit of analysis, how you could answer the research question. Third, Analyzing the artifact, that mean how you analysis your artifact to let the radar understand what you wrote. Fourth, writing the critical essay by using five steps, first writing an introduction of your essay, then describe your artifact of context, after that describe your unit artifact, then report the finding of your analysis, finally discuss the contribution of your analysis and answer the research question.

when i read the paper i remember what we took last semester in writing class. Knowing these steps will allow you to formulate your goals. I think if the students use these steps in their essay they will provide an excellent paper and it will be easier for the reader to understand what the paper is about.

The main idea of Barak Obama’s speech is to help John Kerry address all races equality. He talked about what he believe that all American are equal, no different between them they should collaborate to keep America safe and secure.

In the beginning of his speech he talked about his family stories. His father was a foreign student, born and raised in a small village in Kenya. Between all the difficulties he faced he was worked very hard to succeed. His point is to tell people that how his family can achieve their goal even though they have less income. And how he got better education and become successful in his life.

I really like Obama’s speech. I like his story because it tells us how his family works hard to succeed. Also when he talked about equality “I say to them tonight, there is not a liberal America and a conservative America -- there is the United States of America. There is not a Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America -- there’s the United States of America” his message says that no matter what our skin color are we all same no different between us. I agree with his point.
