The struggle to be an All-American girl, is written by Elizabeth Wong. she describe her live in Chinatown in Los Angeles. The author used a lot of dramatic instance to express details, such as when author want to explain the politeness before beginning Chinese class. The author has used some examples to compare America and China.
she described how her mother forced her to go to school and to learn the language of her heritage. Also the difficulty she face in Chinese language and culture. For example, when she talks about the school how the auditorium is smell and dirty, how they start the class with politeness exercises, the students welcome their teachers every day by tape the bell, kowtow and chant. Also, I like her way when she used Chinese word “sing san ho” to describe the situation and what does it mean in English. I like the words she used to describe the story because I learn newand difficult words. For example, painstakingly, mustiness, chant, ideographs and nagging etc. I like how she struggle to be one of the American when she said “At last I was one of you, I wasn’t one of them”. In fact, something that I do not like about the story how she hates Chinese culture, and how she against learning Chinese language I do not like how she embarrassed from her grandmother how she describes her as humor “raunchy”, also her heritage and where she come from. I do not like it because she should be proud of herself, her grandmother, her heritage and where she comes from. Finally, she describes her sadness when she thought that she could be multicultural “sadly, I still am”
The whole article is easy to understand because the author used the examples which more close to our lives. Also she used a lot of academic words to express the process of bing an “all-American girl”, the author make the article have the sense of humor.

President Obama gives a speech in South Africa at the memorial conference of Nelson Mandela. The place was very crowded and everyone was happy. He talked about Mandela and Mandela was taking risks. Mandela believed in studying the ideas that people's agree and disagree with to understand everyone point of views. President Obama wants to show the audience how Mandela was a smart, powerful and strong leader to influence them. Obama want show people how Nelson Mandela is a memorable leader and we can not forget him.
I think Obama's speech was great. He always knows what he has to say to attract people. He wants people to remember how Mandela helped African and how he struggles to give them new and good life.

One of the greatest speeches is "I have dream" speech by Martin Luther King. The purpose of his speech is to set equalization between an American citizen. His speech is about freedom and citizen right no difference between black American and white American. Martin Luther King is one of the best speakers, he know how to persuade the audience. I have dream speech made a huge change in America and now people still remember him.
I really like his speech; his speech is one of the best speeches ever given. He solve one of the most difficult problem in America his aim was to make all people equal. He wants those of different race should not be segregated.

This letter was written by Margaret Atwood, the article is discusses the relationship between American and Canadian. She was describing in her letter America in the past and how it become today.
America was a successful country but no it slowly filling down Also she discussed in her letter about the change within the political and economic system. American economy is filling down now not like before. At the end of her letter she pointed out that there is still hope for the future for the America to came back as it was before.
The article is very interesting, I hate politics but I like this article. In my opinion, America not like before America was a very successful and strong country, but if we look to other country like Arab country (Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Iraq, etc. America is much better than this country.

She was talking about women who faced problems in finding job. The author wrote about how women writers were struggle. Also she wrote about her experience And how she does not depend on writing for a living. How women can behave as professionals. The article shows that women were succeeding in writing because the paper was very cheap.
I like this article because it talks about women right and how they can become professional. Women must have their own personality. In my country women have no right to say their opinion

Feminist Criticism

The article is about feminist or women liberation. The author tends to say that man and women should be equal. The characteristic of I think the author point is to show how most women in the past were confined to a house. They were just doing their house duty. but by the time went , they start developing themselves and they try to prove that women can do what men can do no different between them. And how they work hard to get their rights. I think the author want us to know how to determine the difference of the male and female voice in writing, also the diction, style, or voice of a female and male.
There are four-step process of feminist critics,1-formulating a research question and selecting an artifact; that mean when you selecting artifact you have to search for a good question 2-selecting a unit of analysis; that men select the way of analyzing your artifact 3-analyzing the artifact and. 4-writing the critical essay I think the author goal of this essay to show the reader the ways of analyzing the artifact by theses. The article is very interesting, but in the beginning it was confused because i was not know what his goal from this article then i understand his points and goal of this article

The paper was writing by Marohang Limbu, Matthew McCool and Xiangjuan Zeng the ways of teaching English language writer and many different ways that people can use it to write their goal was to provide an understanding of writer and reader responsible syntactic structures and then demonstrate a basic technique for teaching. The authors explain that about how could the culture affect our way of thinking. They wrote about the differences between western and eastern styles of writing and communication. Also the paper show the different between America and Asia.
I really like the research because it allows me to know the different between writing and reading responsibility and writing culture ect. The paper Is well written and there is a lot of important information the structure of the paper was perfect I think the research was great I hope to do one like this in the future free of error.
